Star Clippers announces record amount of themed sailings alongside new brochure launch

Following the success of their popular yoga sailings, the specialist cruise line has implemented more themed sailings, including fitness training from former professional athlete Ottis Lewis in the Caribbean and a Photography cruise from Costa Rica.

Each themed cruise includes a guest that will dedicate time to educating and informing guests on their specialist subject, including talks and classes at no extra cost. As well as offering a record number of yoga cruises, guests can choose from further themed sailings from December 2023 to September 2024: Creative Writing in Costa Rica, Yoga & Art in Costa Rica, Astrology & Meditation in St Maarten, Meditation & Wellness in St Maarten, Wellness & Training in Barbados, Guest Chefs in Cannes, Food & Wine in Cannes and Photography in Athens. Additional themes are currently in talks and hope to be confirmed soon.

Fay McCormack, General Manager of the UK GSA said: ‘We are always looking for ways to elevate our guests’ on-board experience, therefore we are delighted to be able to offer new opportunities on board all three of our sailing ships as we launch our new printed brochure. Collaborating with talented individuals eager to share their expertise is an honour and a privilege - it is a pleasure to welcome new guest speakers and coaches that can provide an educating and fulfilling experience alongside a truly memorable, authentic sailing holiday’.

The new brochure, spanning November 2023 through to March 2025 features Royal Clipper, Star Clipper and Star Flyer visiting the Caribbean, Central America and Mediterranean, as well as offering Panama Canal transits and ocean crossings. Early booking discounts of up to 20% off cruise-only brochure fares are available on summer 2024 sailings and winter 2024/25 sailings.
Customers can request their new printed brochure via www.starclippers.co.uk.

High standards of service are provided by an attentive crew and all three ships have expansive teak decks, swimming pools, informal dining, a convivial Tropical Bar on deck and a comfortable piano bar and are large enough to offer first class accommodation and dining.

The two smaller ships, Star Flyer and Star Clipper take 166 guests each, with a crew of 74, while Royal Clipper carries 227 with a crew of 106.
